Upon unloading, the port provides a variety of logistics solutions, such as handling door-to-door cargo including sea freight, unloading, storage, sorting, and distribution to Israel and its neighboring countries. Among the main types of cargo handled at the port are steel of various kinds, dry bulk grain products, grain, chemicals, phosphates, aggregates and cement, bulk liquid, livestock, paper rolls, sacks, wood and non-standard cargo.

Services for Ships

The Port provides various services for merchant marine ships such as: cleaning, water supply, garbage disposal, water pumping, refueling and additional services.

Freight Transport Services

Israel Shipyards Port is a unique port, providing cargo transportation services to and from the port – up to the final destination in Israel and in the neighboring countries - through selected land transport companies.

VIP Room is an online Internet service that gives you complete transparency control tools and real-time viewing ability of all cargo-related activities throughout the supply chain. In addition, by using the network of cameras deployed in the port, you can watch live streaming of your cargo unloading or loading it in real time. Thanks to the advanced barcode technology implemented at the port, you will receive current, accurate and valuable first-hand information which is of utmost importance for the importer, from the moment the ship arrives at the port, through connection to the cargo weight measurement system and inventory management, up to identifying the truck on which the cargo was loaded, and delivery time and destination of shipment. You can also view data history, order work shifts at the click of a button, and produce various operational reports and data published by the port regarding the rate of discharge, service level and efficiency. Future Plans and Services

Barcode for Merchandise

This project enables a high-resolution tracking capability throughout the supply chain for cargo that is unloaded at the Port.

Railway Terminal

The planned Israel Railways routes which will pass through the Port area will allow fast and efficient cargo transportation throughout the country.

Grain Terminal

A grain terminal with a 750-3000 ton silo will enable the handling of larger vessels will provide storage space for grain products, and will connect to the planned railway terminal to be constructed at the Port.

Breakwater

A change in the breakwater structure currently located opposite Israel Shipyards will allow the Port to service Handy size ships of 180 meters and larger.
